My favorite of the trilogy. I just loved Nic and his hard journey to battle his own demons, and his resistance against the One who saves. I cried, writing this one! ~LTB More info →

The Begotten

Series: The Gifted Series, Book 1

After a three-year hiatus from writing, this was the series that inspired me to return to the keyboard. Based on the premise that Saint Paul wrote other letters that have never been found, it's the story of a group of spiritually-gifted people in medieval Italy, brought together to usher in massive spiritual change, in a pre-Reformation time. This one was a finalist for that year's Christy Award. ~LTB More info →

The Betrayed

Series: The Gifted Series, Book 2

I do love the darker "middle" books of a trilogy. It gives me the opportunity to explore what happens to characters when they are truly tested, and this one was the harshest I think I've ever written, because the antagonist was testing the heroine with everything he had in his arsenal. Grueling and yet glorifying, IMHO. ~LTB More info →

Truth be told, this series allowed me to go to Italy three times (THREE) for research! Because of that, I think the very texture of the land seeps through this novel. Hope you enjoy the epic conclusion! ~LTB More info →

The Bridge

The Bridge

Genre: Fiction
I loved this book, set in a place I love the most (NW Montana), and inspired by a Gary Chapman song, "Sweet Jesus." I took that story he told in song-form and ran from there! It's more of a God-man love story than a man-woman love story, though there's a fair amount of romance in it. ~LTB More info →

Having had two grandparents suffer with Alzheimer's, my ears perked up when my sister-in-law told me about certain Alz-units that use "Christmas rooms" to help their patients access some of their deepest, happiest memories. So began this mother-daughter redemption story, set in New Mexico. ~LTB More info →
