Here is the cover for Selah, the third and final installment of The Sugar Baron’s Daughters series, that begins with Keturah and Verity.
Selah Banning has come of age on the West Indies island of Nevis, shaped by experiences far beyond the typical upbringing of a young British lady in 1777. She never anticipated that the most tumultuous time of her life might await her in the year ahead.
Jedediah Reed, a young Methodist preacher with a call to serve the slaves of Nevis, has settled at Selah’s family’s plantation, the Double T. As Selah’s heart is drawn to the same people, their shared purpose brings them together—despite her guardians’ concern with a romance that promises little security for the future.
I’m diving back into this story at the end of the month, when I’ll see my editor’s copy edits, and have my last true chance at changing anything in the book, so pray for wisdom for me! It’s exciting and a little terrifying finishing a series. There’s never any way to completely finish anyone’s story, but I want readers to feel satisfied when they turn the last page.
If you haven’t begun the series, now is a great time to start! The books are available at your local bookstore, as well as on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and more. If you follow me on Amazon or Bookbub, they’ll let you know when I have a new release and/or when it’s on sale.
Selah releases March 3, 2020. You can preorder it now with a low-price-match guarantee!
