Got all the clues written down? Great! Here’s my last bit of background information you might want to know, before you dive into ONCE UPON AN IRISH SUMMER…
MY FAVORITE SEASON
You’d think that if I was writing a Summer series, that’d be my favorite season, right? Wrong.
My favorite season is actually fall. To me, I adore the crisp days, changing leaves, and the return to school routines/productivity. Tim and I often try and sneak in an autumn trip, when some of the tourist traffic dies down. This pic below is of my husband and me when we went to Vermont and upstate New York, a couple years ago (DREAMY!). LAST fall, Tim, our son Jack, and I were lucky enough to score $500 tickets to Ireland in November! (DOUBLE-DREAMY!) Plus I think I look best in fall colors, so there’s that. 😉
But when I was thinking about romances, I thought SUMMER was the best time to place them. After all, once upon a summer in 1991, I fell in love with my husband. (And I’d had several summer romances in years past, but we don’t discuss that much around here…) Summer’s are awesome because the days are long, vacations are often likely, and travel is always a hope for most people. So, because I wanted to set this series of stand-alone romances in beautiful locations, summer seemed to be the right call.
So there you have it. The skinny on my fave. What’s your favorite season and why? Comment below! But before you do, enter my Rafflecopter with your clues all totalled up, including this one:
